Born in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, she moved to the UK at age 14 to study drama and musical theatre at The Arts Educational School, Tring Park. After high school she focused on physics in college and graduated with a Master's in Science (Physics) from Imperial College London in 2008. Specialized in accents and languages, she has a perfect American, English, Dutch, German and French accent and speaks those languages fluently too. In the Netherlands she appeared in the period drama series The Throne (De Troon) and Beatrice (Beatrix), she also played Jennifer in the Golden Calf winning series Overspel.
