Phillip Lin

Phillip moved to the United States from Taiwan in 1986. His parents bought a restaurant in North Carolina and Phillip worked in the restaurant along with his parents while attending school. He then graduated from Gardner-Webb University with two bachelor of science degrees (Computer Science and Mathematics) in 1999.Phillip worked at various companies until settling at IBM in 2000. There he received multiple patents and awards. While working full time at IBM, Phillip worked to receive a Masters of Science in Mathematics in 2004. In 2012, Phillip was hired by SAS.After Phillip's mom passed away in 2013 he decided that his dad needed something to occupy his time. He purchased Catering By Design to give his dad something different to do.Even though Phillip Lin is a successful business man and entrepreneur he always had a deep desire to go into acting; however, he did not have the time to do it or even how to start in that direction. In early October 2016, Phillip's dream was realized as he saw an ad on a post on Facebook where the short film Stories To Tell on Halloween was looking for an extra. Show less «
