Chloe Hawthorn

Chloe Hawthorn was born on 17th August 2002 in Havering.Chloe is a British actress most well known for landing the lead breakthrough role as Matilda in Matilda the Musical (2012-2013). She made her West End stage debut aged 8 in The Wizard Of Oz at the London Palladium (2010-2011), after which, she landed the lead as the famous Roald Dahl heroine. During the run, she won the award for 'Outstanding Female Performance' as voted for by the Mousetrap Theatre Projects' Youth Forum. She performed at the 100th Royal Variety Performance and met many royal family members, including the Queen. In 2014, Chloe continued her portrayal of Roald Dahl characters when she played the role of Sophie in the BFG in the Birmingham Repertory's production of the book.In 2017, she filmed for the virtual reality series Campfire Creepers as part of the main cast, starring Robert Englund with direction by Alexandre Aja. It debuted at Sitges Film Festival later on that year. Other television credits include the role of Jenna in the Sky series, Impact.Chloe also attends Spirit Young Performers Company, a musical theatre training school very popular online. Whilst appearing in many of their Youtube videos, she has also performed at the likes of West End Live, Children In Need and The Olivier Awards. Show less «
