Paul is 'the Geordie' from BBC2 sketch show the Ginge, the Geordie and the Geek which he co-wrote and co-created. He trained as an actor at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (now called Royal Conservatoire of Scotland) in Glasgow, where he still lives with Mrs Geordie and their imaginary dog Santiago.
