The band members are: Billy Lunn (guitar/vocals), Charlotte Cooper (bass/vocals), and Josh Morgan (drums). The group first got together in the early 2000s while still in their early teens. They initially called themselves Mustardseed and Platypus before setting on the name the Subways. The band started out performing at local pubs in and around London, England. The Subways first gained public attention after they won the Glastonbury Festival Unsigned Performers Competition in 2004.
