Loni Hoots was born in Joplin, Missouri to Cindy and David Hoots in 1991. Two years later, her brother Travis was born into the family. After moving back and forth between Colorado and Oklahoma till she was seven years old, then moved to Colorado. She graduated from Lamar High School in 2010, and started college at the local community college in Lamar. After a few more years she obtained an associates degree in science.
