Versatility and passion for what he does defines Luiz Laffey, a Brazilian actor born in October 16, 1967, in São Paulo, Brazil, to Therezinha Manoela, a full time mother, and José Elpidio, a joiner and entrepreneur. His father and mother, both Brazilians, have African, Portuguese, and Indigenous ancestry. He has appeared in Brazilian films, soap operas and TV commercials. The most notably was as the presenter of Casas Bahia commercials for 6 and a half years. He is also a well known voice actor, being the voice of characters in cartoons, movies and documentaries. Cuba Gooding Jr., Hugo Weaving, Will Ferrell, Jack Black, John Travolta, Matthew Perry, Denzel Washington, Jim Carey, Seth Rogen and many others also have his voice in Brazil. His international career started in 2017 on local stage, where he proved his talent as Sam, The Onion Picker in the play Holes.
