A native of Philly, PA, Kat spent years performing in church skits and memorizing rap songs before making her way to NYU. Soon, she booked her first role on Law and Order: SVU and several off-Broadway plays. In LA, Kat has performed stand up comedy at the Comedy Store, the Hollywood Improv, the Ice House, and the Laugh Factory. She's appeared in the comedy feature 'Meet the Blacks' with Mike Epps, NBC's 'The Office' as well as appearing in comedy shorts for 'Funny or Die' and Yahoo's 'Sketchy' series.Most recently, she co-created/executive produced/starred in a comedic rap video 'Sci Fi Chicks' as well as the web series 'Whiz Kids.' She's been published in Glamour magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, as well as being featured on NPR.
