Joey Mekyten

Joey is a kind, smart, athletic young boy who is always interested in learning new things. He loves soccer, is a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo, plays electric guitar and drums, and beginning a love for keyboards as well. At the age of 5, Joey decided to join the school play, and his love for acting flourished from there. That same year, he signed with Barbara Garvey at East Coast Talent Agency and his acting career began. Joey appeared as "Young Karim" in the motion picture Shaft, had the opportunity to play "Young Sebastian" in the pilot Death of Eva Sophia, and was most recently in Brooklyn on HBO. Additionally, he loves print work, has been in a music video and enjoys acting in commercials. He embraces all of his acting opportunities with vigor and a commitment beyond his years! Show less «
