He made his debut on the big screen in 1997 Oscar nominee, "Secretos del Corazon", after followed an audition and was chosen from more than 1,000 kids. His first lead role make he won Goya Award, and Spanish Actor Union Award for best New Actor (Mejor Actor Relevacion). He continue his acting career in a short film, Jardines deshabitados (2000), and another Montxo Amendariz critical acclaim, Silencio Roto (2001).
