Latoya DaCosta

Latoya DaCosta was born the oldest of two children in Wilmington, North Carolina. After graduating from James Kenan High School, she attended North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University. Armed with a bachelor's degree in print journalism, she worked as a copy editor/page designer at newspapers in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.She decided to pursue acting after being downsized in 2007. Soon she was cast in a lead role for a student film. Her first SAG role came when she was cast as Amber Washington in the award-winning web series, "Actors Anonymous." A few months later, she scored a national SAG commercial for Game Stop.Known for her fresh-faced appearance and bright smile, she has landed speaking roles in many independent films.
