Jilanne Marie Klaus

This wholesome, Midwestern, middle child was born in Jackson, Michigan, spent her formative years in Texas and later attended high school near Saint Louis, Missouri. She has always attracted attention. As a young soloist dancer, homecoming queen, and Illinois' Junior Miss she got used to being in the spot light. Her talents eventually led her from her Pre-Medical studies at the University of Notre Dame, to university in France, and eventually to her acting career in New York City, where she studied at The American Academy of Dramamtic Arts while on a dance scholarship at a Broadway studio. Through waiting tables and performing on stages across 3 continents, she earned her first union card. Eventually she settled in Los Angeles, where she dabbled in television, before discovering her love for feature film acting with her debut indie role in The Colony (1995) with John Ritter. Thanks to her good Midwestern work ethic and bubbly personality on set, this hard working actress enjoys much success in independent films, frequently working with the same directors and actors more than once.
