Chema Ponze

Chema Ponze made his first short films in 1990. Ponze was one of the founders of the filmmakers collective "El Grupo Trauma" in 1991. Has directed, written and/or performed more than fifty short films between 1991 and 2002. In 1996 directs a real picture about Spider-Man short film entitled "Peter Parker is Spider-Man," considered the first "fan movie" made in Spain. In 2001 acted in the medium-length film "Fernando Project" which became the first work edited video in Spain in DVD. In 2002 his medium-length film "Soulman" is sold on DVD thru Cydonia Films. In 2006 acts along with singer Alaska in the award-winning short film by Dani Moreno "Martians go home!". As an actor we have seen him in movies like "Los Maravillosos" (2009) or "Mindundis bulk" (2013). In 2017 Ponze starts to filming the remake of his first film, "Soul Man", to be released in 2020. He is married with actress and ballet dancer Ana Malia and they have one child. Show less «
