Alex Boniello

Alex Boniello was born and raised near the Meadowlands of Bergen County, New Jersey. He started performing in numerous rock bands in the New York/New Jersey area, acting as guitarist and singer. He began acting in the theatre during High School. These theatrical endeavors lead to him getting set up with a manager and he has been auditioning constantly ever since. Recently, he starred in the Tony Award nominated Broadway Revival of "Spring Awakening," as the Voice of Moritz and guitarist. He lead the company on CBS's live telecast of the Tony Awards, as well as "Late Night with Seth Meyers." He also toured the country in the national touring cast of Green Day's "American Idiot." As a musician, he has written and performed songs that have been placed in films that he also starred in as an actor. Some additional work includes Marvel's "Jessica Jones," Showtime's "Happyish," and Lin-Manuel Miranda's "21 Chump Street." Show less «
