Khalil Everage

Khalil Everage will make his feature film debut as the co-lead opposite Anthony Anderson in the Netflix Original BEATS which is set to release June 2019. Everage plays "August Monroe," musical prodigy with borderline agoraphobia whose path collides with a former music manager (Anderson) who has fallen from grace. The unlikely duo must come together to free each other from the demons of their pasts. The film was directed by Chris Robinson and produced by Robert Teitel. Other cast-mates include Uzo Aduba, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Paul Walter Hauser, and hip-hop artists Dave East and Dreezy.Most recently, he's been seen in Season 2 of Lena Waithe's critically acclaimed Showtime series THE CHI and a major recurring role in Season 2 of YouTube Red's smash hit COBRA KAI from creators Jon Hurwitz & Hayden Schlossberg.
