Virginia Leigh

Virginia Leigh is an actress and writer based in Toronto, Canada. She grew up in Toronto, Ottawa, and New York City with her parents and siblings. Leigh graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA(Hon) specialist degree in semiotics and communication. She works in film, television and theatre.To date she has appeared as the lead in four feature films, all of which have won awards in their travels through festival circuits internationally, including a Best Actress win for Leigh at Hamilton Film Festival. Leigh also earned her first song-writing credit for collaboration on the theme song. Her television work has aired on APTN, Super Channel, Rogers on Demand, Women's Network, and the History Channel.
