Philippe Carillo

Philippe Carillo is a French award-winning filmmaker and investigative journalist who spent 14 years in Hollywood. He started his career in France as a sound editor for films and documentaries and worked on more than 65 major documentaries for the BBC, 20th Century Fox, and different French productions. He moved to Hollywood in 2003, made his first major investigative documentary in 2014 called "Inside the Garbage of the World," and won three awards. He moved to Vanuatu in 2017 and created a film production company called Fusion Productions Limited. Since then, Philippe has produced and directed more than 160 short and feature films in the country. The last major investigative documentary, "The Fukushima Disaster: The Hidden Side of the Story," has made its way to worldwide distribution and already won palms at different film festivals around the world.
