Octavio Gómez Berríos is a diverse actor with experience in both television and film. In 2007 Steve Barron"s "Choking Man" -- the Gotham Award winning independent film marked Octavio's first lead role and won him the Best Newcomer honor at the Ibiza International Film. He was named the Breakthrough Actor at the MethodFest Independent Film Festival for his second lead performance in the motion picture "Harrison Montgomery". Octavio had a lead role alongside Sandra Bullock in "Our Brand is Crisis" directed by David Gordon Green and in Universal Pictures' comedy "Search Party" directed by Scot Armstrong. He's had numerous guest-starring roles on television in hit series including "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "The Unit," "Third Watch" and the upcoming FX drama, "Snowfall." Octavio Gómez Berríos was born in León, Nicaragua where he spent most of his childhood.
