Erick Trotter

Erick Trotter, is an American Independent Filmmaker from Columbus, Ohio. When he was 9 his mother took him to see The Matrix in the theater and he knew from then on that he wanted to make movies. He's Greatly influenced by the French new wave Filmmakers of the 60's (Jean-Luc Godard, Francois Truffaut) and The movie Brats of the 70s, Scorsese, De Palma, Coppola. His Filmmaking style and Vision is comparable to Andrei Tarkovsky and Akira Kurosawa. After Numerous Failed attempts at getting funding, he funded his own film Survival Mode (2021) entirely by himself, to him the Passion he has for storytelling was far more important than the money.
