Christina Wiesner

Born in Bensalem, PA, Christina grew up in Ivyland, PA. Christina was always climbing and got the nickname "the monkey". Christina loved to put on singing, dancing and cheerleading performances with her friends and cousins. Christina always wanted to move out to California and when she was 21 she finally went. She worked as a leasing consultant for Park Labrea apartments, but always felt like she should be doing more.. She got her head shot done and looked into acting classes, but they were so expensive she got discouraged. After only a year of living in California she moved home. Just a few weeks after moving her she met who is now her husband.. They dated for 2 1/2 years before getting married and having their 1st child. When Christina's son was just over a year old she decided to start going to an LPN Nursing program. Unfortunately, after tearing her lateral meniscus as a nursing assistant and then again as a nursing student she was in too much pain to continue and ended up on a transplant list for a new meniscus. While waiting Christina got pregnant with her 2nd child. She suffered post partum depression after her daughter was born. It took a while, but Christina was able to get back to herself and decided from that day forward to pursue her dream to become and actress. She started doing background on shows in NYC (Gotham, Mozart in the Jungle, Wizard of Lies, etc.). The minute Christina got on her first set she knew she wanted more as an actor and started taking classes. Christina has been offered parts in web series, shorts and will be adding supporting & lead parts in 2 different independent films this summer to her resume. Christina just received her last voucher to join the SAG Union and plans on submitting once her letter comes in. Show less «
