Marian was born in the US but raised in a small village in County Mayo in Ireland from the age of 5. After graduating from high school she returned for the summer, fell in love with New York and that was that! She has been an important presence in the New York Irish music scene as a singer and guitar player for about 8 years recording 2 albums and performing all over the country as a solo artist. As an actress and member of the Irish Repertory Theatre, she performed in several of their productions. She is well known to daytime audiences as the "Psycho Nanny" Mary Mennihan on the CBS Soap "As The World Turn".
